A-Line Scene Hairstyles

A modern twist on the classic bob haircut uses an angled cutting
line to add layers along the bottom edge of the haircut. The result
of this variation is a more scene 'fitted' look to the style, and a
softer, rounder scene hairstyle. Check out the pictures of different
scene hair to create your new scene hairstyle.

How To:
Shampoo and condition the hair as needed, towel dry, and comb
out. Once combed to remove tangles, isolate the fringe area of the

Section the hair on the crown, twist it up and clip it in place. Next,
take one-to-one-and-a-half-inch sections of hair sliced at an angle
from the center back of the head to the front, twist and clip them
out of the way as shown. Leave down only the hair at the nape of
the neck.

Comb the hair down and cut a guideline to the desired length.
Then, starting in the center of the neck area by combing a vertical
slice and holding it at an approximately 45-degree elevation (follow
the angle created by placing the comb against the back ofthe head
over the occipital bone) cut the hair along that 45-degree angle and
continue to one side, then the next, working outward from the

Once the nape section is cut, let down the next two sections (one
from each side of the head) and comb them back toward the
cutting angle. Always working outward from the center back, take
slices of hair and cut them at 45-degrees, using the previously cut
sections as a guide.

Repeat this process with the remaining clipped sections until you've
worked your way completely forward to the face. Then comb the
hair down along the sides and trim the bottom edge to even it and
create a clean line.

Beginning once more in the back of the head, comb thin vertical
slices and hold them out at the previous 45-degree angle, then cut
the corners of the slices to blend away the weight line. Work your
way around the head in this manner, from back to fronton each

Hair Care Tips For Curly Hair

Curly Hair Care
There are numerous problems concerning curly hair with most of the causes being bad maintenance. One of the most common problems is hair frizz. There are several factors that contribute to this, but most can be controlled. Some of the ideas that are commonly used for treating curly hair actually cause more damage than good. The following are tips for proper care of curly hair anyone can use.

Hair Care Tips For Curly Hair
The following are hair care tips for those with curly hair.

• Moisturizers – one of the most common problems with curly hair is it usually is also dry hair. For this reason, use a shampoo and conditioner that is specifically created to help moisturize your hair. Products made for curly hair usually contain extra moisturizers. Wash no sooner than every other day, but use conditioners daily. Try to at least once a month; use a deep conditioner on your hair.
Brushing – do not use narrow toothed combs, use wide toothed ones, or do not brush at all. If hair is tangled, wet it with conditioner, and use fingers or wide toothed comb. Start at the tip of the hair and work slowly to the root.
• Drying – try to air-dry hair to prevent frizzing. Do not brush or rub your hair with a towel. If you have to dry hair quickly, use a towel to blot it gently.
• Styling – the less you touch your hair the better for it, as friction causes frizz in curly hair. Use products with extra moisturizers. If you must use a blow dryer be sure to use a diffuser on it, and scrunch the hair gently as you dry it. An easy way to freshen up curly hair is to mist it with conditioner or water. The best hairstyles are not controlled, but let the curls flow loosely and naturally.
• Cutting and Coloring – A layered cut works best for curly hair. Hair that is the same length will pull the curls down, especially on the top. Longer cuts prevent curls from sticking up. Highlighting can be used on the curls around your face to open up your features.
• Eat Right – one of the most important, but often most forgot hair care treatments, are proper eating habits. Proteins help keep hair healthy and should be consumed often. Multi mineral and vitamin supplements should be taken daily. Avoid low protein diets, fatty foods, sodium, processed foods, and grease when possible.

Anyone with curly hair can have glorious curls for all to adore with just a little extra care. Follow these tips and you will be one of them!

How to Get the Scene Attitude - Scene Kids

How to be a Scene Kid with the Right Attitude

Scene kids are now everywhere and it is pleasing to the eyes to see smart-looking kids dressed in punk attires with modern hairstyles but maintains a neat appearance and the right attitude.

If you want to be a scene kid with the right attitude, make sure that you are careful with your words. Avoid using language that is already obsolete like “rawr”. Avoid calling people by brands that they might hate you. Remember that you’re all kids, not animal species.

Even if you exude that kind of right attitude, however, expect some people to hate you. These groups may include punks, ska kids and local visitors that do not belong to the scene kids.

Be unique in your style and avoid copying words and styles of others that can annoy them. People can appreciate if you howl out of excitement sometimes, but don’t overdo it. People hate somebody who screams “purple hippos” all the time.

Display an aura that is of a descent scene kid with all your trimmings and accessories of a real scene kid, but not a happy-go-lucky kid. Your words will speak for the kind of a scene kid personality that you have.

Don’t focus yourself in one scene style, make it variable. There are a lot of glamour scenes and glamcores where you can choose from, it’s a matter of choosing the right designer label that suits your taste. Consider also sporting that kind of hairstyle that is “in” but not too weird. If you do this, you might be labeled a trying hard scene kid.
